A full-immersion weekend of food, spirits, music and entertainment with five-time James Beard semifinalist, John Fleer, “Best Bluegrass Album” Grammy winners, The SteelDrivers, and a Keynote Appalachian Chat with James Beard awarded “Victuals” author Ronni Lundy and New York Times Bestselling novelist Sharyn McCrumb. Also featuring Chefs Ian Boden, Annie Pettry, Adam Hayes, Ashley Capps, Chris Huerta, John Stehling and Denny Trantham in interactive food and beverage events.

Old Edwards Inn and Spa’s Root Bound 2018, a savoring of Appalachian Food, Culture and Music- Friday, will land in Highlands, NC February 23 through Sunday, February 25, 2018. Early-bird tickets are now on sale for the all-access weekend pass.

New to the line-up in the second year are James Beard Semifinalist’s Chef John Fleer of Rhubarb and Chef Ian Boden of The Shack, New York Times Bestselling Author Sharyn McCrumb, Grammy Award-winning bluegrass band, The SteelDrivers and many others.

Returning favorites are James Beard awarded Victuals author Ronni Lundy, purveyor of pork Allan Benton, and James Beard nominated Cutthroat Kitchen winner Chef Adam Hayes of Canyon Kitchen.
